Our School Council gives children a meaningful voice in the life of our school. Representatives from each class in KS2 are elected by their classmates and meet regularly to share ideas, discuss issues that matter to children and help shape improvements across the school. As part of our School Council, we have Travel Ambassadors, who help to support with healthy ways to travel to school and Eco Counsellors, who support with ensuring that we are doing what we can as a school to respect the environment.

Through their role as counsellors, children develop confidence, communication and leadership skills while learning about responsibility, teamwork, democracy and respectful decision-making. The School Council provides children with opportunities to listen to different perspectives, represent the views of others and see how their ideas can make a positive difference to our school community.
